Being straight with you

This won't win a Portland-area race for the hottest bottle. It's built for small-town hunting instead.

Big cities: this will be inefficient — be honest with yourself

In Portland, Salem, Eugene, and other metro areas, the hottest allocated bottles are frequently gone within hours of arriving, sometimes before the day's data even updates. A once-a-day check cannot win that race, full stop. If you live in a big city and only care about the hottest bottles, you should expect very few useful alerts. We'd rather tell you that up front than take your $4.99/month and have you feel misled.

Smaller towns: this is the sweet spot

Outside the metro areas, allocated bottles regularly sit on shelves for days. A daily check plus automatic area-filtering is genuinely enough to get you there before it's gone.
