By signing up for or paying for PourAlert (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.
PourAlert sends text alerts when bottles you've asked us to watch appear in your state's alcohol control agency inventory data near you, and reminders for that agency's lottery entry windows. The underlying data is public, state-published, and typically about a day behind real-world store activity — see the homepage for the full explanation of what this is and isn't good for.
The Collector plan is $4.99, billed automatically every month until you cancel. It unlocks text alerts and unlimited bottle watches for as long as your subscription is active. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period, and your account reverts to the free Regular plan at that point.
PourAlert is run independently, and we may suspend, modify, or permanently shut down the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason, with or without advance notice. This includes discontinuing text alerts, the lottery reminders, the website, or the business itself. If that happens, you are not entitled to a refund of any amount already paid. We may, at our sole discretion, choose to offer refunds (for example, if the Service shuts down shortly after you paid) — but we are under no obligation to do so, and choosing to do it once does not create an obligation to do it again.
The Service, and the underlying state inventory data it relies on, are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that alerts will be timely, that inventory data is accurate or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You understand the data can lag, and stores can sell out, mis-scan, or run out of stock between when the state records it and when you receive an alert.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PourAlert is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including missing out on a bottle, a failed or delayed alert, or reliance on inventory data that turns out to be wrong or stale. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

PourAlert is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any state alcohol control agency.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
